Earnings Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
Effective Date: September 2026 · Governing Jurisdictions: United States (FTC), Canada (Competition Bureau), United Kingdom (CMA)
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has rightly taken aggressive enforcement actions against “done-for-you automation” companies that sold get-rich-quick schemes, fabricated revenue dashboards, and deceptive income claims. Devlip does not sell “business opportunities” or “passive income.” We are an operational agency providing professional services, media buying, and software engineering for client-owned businesses.
1. No Guarantees of Revenue, Profit, or Passive Income
Neither Devlip nor its employees, contractors, or partners make any guarantee, representation, or warranty that you or your business will earn any specific dollar amount, net profit, or return on investment. E-commerce retail is a competitive commercial activity with substantial financial risk.
We explicitly do not promise “passive income,” “autopilot stores,” or “hands-free wealth.” You, as the brand owner, remain responsible for reviewing decisions, approving inventory purchases, funding advertising spend, and complying with all relevant local and federal laws.
2. Case Studies & Typicality Disclosure
Any metrics, sales figures, conversion rates, or return-on-ad-spend (ROAS) statistics displayed on Devlip.com or in our marketing materials represent the documented historical experiences of specific client accounts.
3. Zero Upfront Fee Model Clarification
Our “Zero Upfront Marketplace Partnership” structure means that Devlip does not charge an agency labor setup fee or monthly management retainer on qualifying accounts until your store crosses its first net sales threshold.
Zero upfront fee does not mean zero business cost. As the owner of the enterprise, you must have adequate working capital to purchase physical inventory, pay carrier shipping and prep costs, fund marketplace subscription plans (such as Amazon Professional), and fund direct third-party advertising spend (Amazon Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads).
4. Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA) Compliance
In full accordance with the Consumer Review Fairness Act, Devlip strictly prohibits non-disparagement or gag clauses in any client agreement. Clients are free at all times to post honest, authentic public reviews of their experience with our agency.
5. Independent Due Diligence
Before engaging Devlip or investing in any e-commerce inventory, you are advised to consult with an independent financial advisor, legal counsel, and certified accountant. Do not invest capital that you cannot afford to lose.
