Our commitment to fair terms
Devlip provides professional marketplace management and custom software engineering. We believe in clear, enforceable written terms rather than ambiguous promises. All client engagements operate under written agreements before any payment or account access is granted.
1. E-commerce store management services
A. 7-Day launch guarantee (Fixed monthly plan)
For clients on our fixed monthly management plan (1500 USD per month), Devlip guarantees that your marketplace store setup, initial catalog research, and compliance routing will be completed within 7 business days of receiving all required onboarding documentation and seller permissions.
If our operations team fails to meet this 7 business day delivery window due to reasons under our direct operational control, your first month of agency management fees will be credited or refunded in full.
B. Zero upfront partner plan (50/50 split on net profit)
Under our partner plan, clients pay zero upfront setup fees and zero recurring monthly retainers. Our agency compensation is strictly a 50% split of verified net profit generated by the store.
Because no upfront agency fees are charged, refund requests do not apply to agency fees under this plan. Either party may cancel the partner agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon cancellation, the client retains full ownership of their store accounts, inventory, and historical data.
C. 90-Day performance review
If after 90 days of active operations on our fixed management plan, your store has not generated positive unit economics, our operations team will conduct a complete strategic catalog audit and pivot review at zero additional labor cost.
2. Custom software and web development
A. Milestone-based billing and approvals
All custom development packages operate under structured milestone schedules agreed upon in writing before project kick-off. Work begins upon receipt of the initial project deposit.
Subsequent milestone payments are released only after you have reviewed, tested, and approved the completed deliverables on a staging server. Because each milestone is reviewed and signed off prior to payment release, payments for approved milestones are non-refundable once work on the subsequent milestone has commenced.
B. 30-Day post-launch warranty
Every software package includes a 30-day bug fix warranty following production deployment. If any functional defect or code regression within the agreed scope is identified during this period, our engineering team will rectify it promptly at zero additional cost.
C. Intellectual property handover
Upon receipt of final milestone payment, 100% of custom code, design files, administrative credentials, and deployment environments are transferred entirely to your legal entity.
3. Cancellation policy
You may cancel any active Devlip service at any time. Cancellation terms vary by plan type as set out below.
A. How to cancel
To cancel any plan or subscription, send written notice to partnerships@devlip.com with your account/store name and the effective date you would like cancellation to take effect. We confirm every cancellation request in writing within two business days, along with the final billing date and account transition steps.
B. Fixed monthly management plan
The fixed monthly plan has no long-term lock-in. You may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice, consistent with our Terms of Service. You retain full access to your store and accounts upon termination, and no further fees are billed once cancellation is effective.
C. Zero upfront partner plan (50/50 split on net profit)
Because there is no monthly retainer on this plan, cancellation simply ends the revenue-share arrangement. Either party may cancel with 30 days written notice, as described in Section 1B above. There is nothing to refund, since fees are only ever collected as a share of verified profit already generated.
D. Custom software development projects
You may cancel an in-progress development project at any milestone boundary by written notice. Milestones already approved and paid for are non-refundable, as the corresponding work has been delivered and accepted. Any deposit collected for a milestone that has not yet started is refunded in full. Work product completed up to the point of cancellation (code, designs, credentials) is handed over to you within five business days.
E. What happens after cancellation
Upon a confirmed cancellation, we revoke Devlip team access to your store, marketplace, and payment accounts, and you retain full, uninterrupted ownership and control of your accounts, inventory, historical data, code, and credentials. No cancellation or exit fees apply on any plan.
4. Inquiry and dispute process
If you believe a service deliverable did not meet the agreed written specifications, please submit a formal review request to our management team at partnerships@devlip.com.
Our directors will review your project timeline, milestone sign-offs, and communication logs within three business days to resolve the matter fairly.
