Do we need Shopify Plus, or is standard Shopify enough?
Most brands don't need Plus to launch a premium storefront. We recommend Plus when checkout customization, multi-market complexity, or B2B/wholesale channels genuinely require it. Not by default.
What's the difference between a theme build and headless?
A theme build gives you full editorial control inside Shopify's Online Store 2.0 editor. Headless trades some of that editing simplicity for maximum performance and creative freedom. Best for brands with dedicated dev resources or highly custom experiences.
Can you migrate our existing store without losing SEO?
Yes. Migrations include a full redirect map, metadata parity, and structured data checks so rankings and traffic carry over rather than reset on launch.
Do you build the apps and integrations too?
We scope and integrate the app stack. Reviews, subscriptions, loyalty, ERP/3PL. As part of the build, and hand off documentation so your team isn't dependent on us for every change.
What happens after launch?
Launch includes a stabilization window for fixes. Ongoing theme updates, monitoring, and iterative CRO live under our Shopify Maintenance & Support engagement.
How fast can we start?
Most builds kick off within a week of the strategy call, once catalog size and Plus requirements are confirmed.
Do we own what you build?
Yes. You get full ownership of the theme code, store, and accounts. DEVLIP can operate the build for you, but nothing is locked behind us.
What are the contract terms?
Scope, timeline, and terms get confirmed in writing before kickoff, covering the theme, app stack, and launch plan. No surprises, no fine print. Qualifying engagements carry a 90-day results guarantee.
What does this cost?
DEVLIP runs three tiers built for scope, not a fixed price sheet: Launch, Scale, and Portfolio, each custom-quoted to your scope. A custom theme build usually fits Launch or Scale, while a Shopify Plus or headless rebuild with multiple integrations tends to land in Portfolio. See Pricing for the full breakdown, or book a free call for an exact number.
How do we pay you?
Bank transfer, wire, card through Stripe, or PayPal, whichever is easiest on your end. Invoices tie to the build sprints agreed at kickoff.
